The Thurston County Public Works department is looking to fill two full-time flagger/laborer positions. Consider applying for a position that contributes to community and jobsite safety.
Duties include performing traffic control in work sites for maintenance and construction projects under varying weather conditions; ability to operate a variety of equipment; traffic control by flagging to guide traffic through work areas; explain to public in a courteous manner the reasons for the job being performed; exercise good safety working procedures and practices.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- One year of construction related experience.
- Valid Washington State diver’s license.
- Possess a Washington traffic flagging card.
- Valid first aid card (or obtain one within three months of employment).
