Johnson Controls and the National Energy Foundation’s 10th annual Igniting Creative Energy Challenge — a national competition for kindergarten through 12th grade students — for the first time includes a water efficiency category. Entries range from science projects and essays to photography and Web sites that demonstrate creative new ways to use less energy. The deadline is March 4; winners will be announced in April.
