Permeable clay pavers for streets, sidewalks

1 MIN READ

An alternative to installing storm drains that provides more than 12,000 psi of compressive strength.

Pine Hall Brick Co., the largest manufacturer of clay pavers in the U.S., is seeing increasing use of its StormPave permeable clay pavers for streets and sidewalks by municipalities and college campuses. When installed with a best-practices aggregate system, the pavers enable rainwater to be absorbed underneath, eliminating the need for storm drains and decreasing water pollution. In winter, they limit surface ice while enabling effective snow removal. They’re more durable than other paving materials, don’t fade, and last for 100 years.
