Mohawk Buys Laminate Flooring Maker Pergo

Calhoun, Ga.-based Mohawk Industries agreed to buy global laminate-flooring maker Pergo for $150 million in cash, the residential and commercial flooring supplier announced Monday. The acquisition comes as Mohawk looks to boost its geographic reach and add options to its specialty distribution network within the U.S. retail channel. Read the full announcement.
