Quitman, Texas-based discount building-material supplier G&S Sales told police that 30 windows and 57 pre-hung door units, a combined value of more than $18,000, were stolen from its yard the evening of Nov. 9, the Wood County Democrat reports. General manager B.J. Steele said this is the second break-in at the store in the last month. In both cases, the suspects cut the perimeter fence at the back of the building; suspects in the first burglary, which took place Oct. 12, also allegedly cut the front gate’s chain in order to drive a truck on site and remove $900-worth of plywood, Steele told the Democrat.
