ROXUL Opens U.S. Manufacturing Plant

The $160 million facility will serve markets in the U.S. and Mexico

ROXUL, a manufacturer of stone wool insulation products, opened its first U.S. manufacturing plant after more than a year of construction.

The plant, located in Holly Springs, Miss., cost $160 million to build and spans 600,000 square feet. Once fully operational in fall, 2014, the plant will employ 150 workers and supply stone wool insulation to markets in the mid and southern U.S., as well as Mexico.

“This is truly a historic occasion for ROXUL, said company president Trent Ogilvie. “We couldn’t have found a better place to call home.”
