EPA Reveals RRP Rule Violations in Mo.

Remodeling company pays $5,559 civil penalty to settle allegations

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) today announced that an investigation into an Independence, Mo., remodeling company revealed violations of its Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule.

According to the investigation, remodeling co Dynamic Porch & Patio “failed to obtain initial firm certification, failed to provide the Renovate Right pamphlet to the owner of the residence and failed to retain records for three years regarding compliance with lead safe work practices.”

The remodeling company agreed to pay a $5,559 civil penalty to settle the allegations.
