Tum-A-Lum Lumber, Hood River, Ore., winner of the 2016 ProSales Excellence Award in Facility Design, has reached an agreement in principle to acquire Marson and Marson Lumber, Inc., Tum-A-Lum announced today in a press release.

Marson and Marson was founded in 1955 and operates locations in Leavenworth, Wenatchee, Chelan, and Cle Elum, Wash. Marson and Marson operates building material centers, a truss plant, a design center, and a drywall distribution facility, according to the press release.

“This acquisition is the first step in Tum-A-Lum’s growth strategy,” M. David Dittmer, CEO of Tum-A-Lum, stated in the release. “The communities Marson and Marson operate in are very similar to the Tum-A-Lum markets. Marson and Marson is a great fit for our organization.”
