Roughly 18 months after acquiring ProBuild, Builders FirstSource (BFS) is well into the process of rebranding hundreds of ProBuild operations with the BFS logo, the company’s senior vice president for integration confirmed to ProSales today.
“We are changing all ProBuild sites over to Builders FirstSource branding,” Tim Page said in an email. “We will only keep our existing branding in California (Dixieline, San Lorenzo), Alaska (Spenard, Polar Supply), and the small number of Midwest TimberRoots locations.
“We expect to complete the branding transition of locations in the Northeast, Upper Midwest, Southwest, and South Central by the end of 2017,” Page continued. Locations in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, northern Kentucky, and the U.S. Northwest “will most likely transition post-2017.”
BFS completed its purchase of ProBuild on July 31, 2015, creating at $6.1 billion in revenue the biggest pro-oriented lumber and building material supplier in America. It ranks behind only ABC Supply on the ProSales 100, operating roughly 400 facilities in 40 states.
