As part of its 2017 recruitment campaign, 84 Lumber has released its first commercial since the Super Bowl. The first ad, released Feb. 5, depicted a Latina mother and daughter’s journey to the U.S. for the chance at a new life. Edited for TV at FOX’s request to remove a reference to a border wall, 84 then posted the full five-minute version on Youtube, receiving more than 11 million views.

Just 30 seconds long, this new ad shows an astronaut orbiting around Mars, while a narrator invites “runner up” candidates from NASA’s mission to apply for 84’s management trainee program. The narrator calls for people with “ambition, a can-do attitude, and a lot of moxie.”

84’s new ad, released May 1, is a follow up to its Super Bowl spot, as the company tries to “put out a strong call-to-action for potential employees to apply for roles throughout the organization,” according to a press release.

So far, the campaign has worked, as the company has added more than 750 new employees since the Super Bowl and seen a 191% increase in the number of individuals joining the 84 Lumber talent network.

The Mars ad will air on FOX and ESPN family of networks, as the Eighty Four, Pa.-based company seeks to continue attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent.
