SRS Distribution announced the opening of four new locations today, giving the company 20 new locations in 2017. The four branches in Durham, N.C., Port Richey, Fla., Laredo Texas, and Joliet, Ill., will carry a full line of roofing products and will focus on servicing contractors and builders.
Each new location represents further expansion by SRS into the respective markets. It is the firm’s 6th location in North Carolina, 12th in Florida, 21st in Texas, and 4th in Illinois.
Dan Tinker, President and CEO of SRS, said in a statement “These new locations will fortify our market position in many important MSA’s by increasing our delivery radius and overall capacity as well as improving our proximity to our valued customers. We continue to look for talented people in existing and new geographies that are looking to work hard in an entrepreneurial environment and run their branch like their own business.”
SRS has been expanding rapidly this year, already beating its total of 16 new locations from 2016. Most recently, they acquired a California-based roofing dealer in June. The McKinney, Texas-based firm had $1.9 billion in sales last year, and was ranked No. 9 on the 2017 ProSales 100.
