BMC announced it will open its new 30-acre, 187,000-square foot manufacturing facility Oct. 31, in Woodland, Calif. The plant will be used to meet increased market demands in Northern California, specifically in the Northern Sacramento Valley, Napa Valley, and North Bay markets.
The facility will offer a full line of building products including lumber, roof and floor trusses, wall panel components, millwork and the firm’s whole-house framing solution READY-FRAME.
In a Sept. 12 press release, BMC Sales Manager Erik Benson said “Our customer base is growing, and we are growing with them. BMC is a full-service, one-stop building materials provider servicing Northern California, delivering a complete and robust offering of products, services, and installation to meet our customers’ production demands. The facility’s large-scale capacity will enhance BMC’s streamlined ordering and service, to give customers what they need, when they need it – exactly how they want it.”
BMC, the No. 4-ranked 2017 ProSales 100 company, most recently made deals in Texas and West Virginia, acquiring a millwork firm and truss maker. The company had over $3 billion in total sales last year.
