Western Window Systems has released the Series 7650 sliding glass door. The company says the product is its strongest, most energy-efficient sliding glass door ever and now features taller and wider sizes. The door has an aluminum extrusion design using technology that Western Window says reduces energy consumption.

Festool has introduced the PLANEX Easy drywall sander. The tool has integrated dust extraction, weighs 8.8 lbs., and features a flexible head design, which Festool says allows for greater freedom of movement for easier sanding. The top section is removable, allowing for up-close sanding to abutting surfaces such as inside edges, according to the company.

Bosch has released new BlueGranite Turbo Carbide Hammer Drill Bits. The bits feature a four-grind head, which the company says offers more cutting angles and a faster bore than a two-grind bit. Bosch also claims the bits last five times longer and are two times faster than standard masonry bits. The redesigned hex shank allows for use in hammer drills and impact drivers.

Dustless Technologies introduced the DustBuddie for worm drive circular saws. The product captures up to 99% of the dust created when cutting concrete and stone, says the maker, and complies with OSHA’s new Silica Rule without water. Six nonmarking wheels allow the device to glide over the work surface, delivering straighter cuts while the airflow chamber collects the dust.

DriTac Flooring now sells two ecofriendly underlayments for residential and commercial flooring applications: the 8301 Impact 1mm and the 8302 Double Impact 2mm. Both underlayments feature DriTac’s Total Sound Reduction System and come with a lifetime warranty when used in conjunction with DriTac flooring adhesives.
