SRS Distribution has opened new greenfield locations in Grand Rapids, Mich.; Middletown, Ohio; and North Sacramento, Calif., the specialty dealer announced March 1.
The Grand Rapids location “is the first step of a multi-year strategic growth plan to expand across the state of Michigan,” the company said in a news release. The Middletown yard is SRS’ 12th facility in Ohio and complements its existing service to Cincinnati, while the North Sacramento location expands the company’s geographic reach.
Both the Michigan and Ohio yards will operate under the Willoughby Supply name. SRS acquired Willoughby in December. The North Sacramento facility will operate as a RoofLine Supply location.
These new yards raise to six the number of greenfield locations that SRS has opened this year, and the company plans to announce several more later this spring, President and CEO Dan Tinker said. McKinney, Texas-based SRS now has 209 locations in 41 states operating under 21 different names. SRS is owned by Berkshire Partners.
