INOX has introduced a new ceramic-coated premium finish option, CeraMax, for all of its door hardware products. This highly durable finish–the first of its kind according to the manufacturer–is designed to withstand damage in harsh environments, including salt spray, oxidation, humidity, and ultraviolet light.
“Hoteliers and homeowners in coastal regions know the maintenance and risk of stainless steel or powder-coated door hardware due to the harsh environment,” says Jeff Howes, President of INOX. “We looked for a solution and introduced the CeraMax line so that you can finally have door hardware that guarantees durability, longevity and a beautiful design aesthetic within these locations.”
The CeraMax hardware resists most solvents and chemicals, withstands the ASTM B117 Salt Spray Corrosion Test 85 times longer than stainless steel, and faces extreme exposure to high humidity and ultraviolet light with no yellowing or luster loss for up to 5,750 hours. The finish is available in Glacier White, Graphite Black and Flat Black. inoxproducts.com
