Fastening tool manufacturer National Nail has announced a new version of its existing STINGER CS150 cap stapler, designed and upgraded based on feedback and suggestions from its customers. The new, 18 gauge STINGER CS150B cap stapler is designer to offer an easier loading process, a longer tool life, a larger cap and staple capacity, and a wider range of operating pressure, among other features.

“We listened to our contractors to make several enhancements to the STINGER CS150B that make the tool even more efficient and easier to use over a longer period of time to meet the expectations of time savings on each job,” said Roger Szotko, STINGER Product Manager, National Nail. “Beyond that, the CS150B offers the same lightweight, compact design that reduces arm fatigue and with fewer stops to reload.”

The CS150B shoots 5/8”, 7/8”, 1 1/4″, and 1-1/2” length 18-gauge staples with 1” plastic caps, and can shoot up to 200 caps and 200 staples before reloading. It offers operating pressures up to 120 psi, and features tool-free adjustable exhaust. A belt hook, a durable carrying case, and a trigger with bumpfire and sequential modes are also included. According to the manufacturer, the tool is ideal for installing roofing underlayments, house wrap, and foamboard. stingerworld.com
