Welcome New ProSales Editor David Myron

Products and materials distribution channel pro steps in at the helm of our ProSales content efforts.

We have good news for you.

Award-winning journalist and editorial content leader David Myron, who has joined us this week as Editor-in-Chief of our ProSales platform of print, digital, and in-person content serving residential constructions’ dynamic lumber and building materials channel.

David will be responsible for editorial direction, digital coverage plans, daily execution, and ongoing executive in-person training and thought-leadership programming on Hanley Wood’s ProSales, the ProSales 100 Business Conference, and a portfolio of digital products. He’ll join the Residential Content Leader Team group.

David has big shoes to fill.

As many of you know, long-time ProSales editor Craig Webb, left us in September to follow an entrepreneurial dream, and he’s started Webb Analytics, specifically to help serve many of you with advisory, insight, and data services.

Fortunate for us, Craig remains part of the ProSales family of trusted advisors and contributors, and you will continue to see him and hear from him here.

Also fortunate for us, David Myron, Craig’s successor in the content leadership role brings an equally passionate energy, and an equally-accomplished pedigree to continuing to tell your story in ways that empower you to improve, to attract talent, and to prosper in your businesses during up-cycles and down.

David Myron is skilled at content development and strategy; audience engagement; crafting SEO, social media, email, webinar, and video content; and selecting compelling content and speakers for must-attend conferences and events. In addition to launching profitable products, David has achieved double-digit growth rates for multimillion-dollar events. David’s skills include content strategy, content development, branded content, content marketing, event marketing, corporate events, product management, global events, business alliances, enterprise software, B2B software, cross-functional team leadership, B2B marketing, blogging, editing, community engagement, communication skills, CRM, Salesforce, and innovation.

Most recently, David served as director of event program management at Stamford, CT-based Gartner, and before that, for 12 years, he worked at Information Today, rising to Editorial Director / Conference Program Director, CRM & Speech Tech mags & SmartCustomerService.com.

David is thoroughly familiar with the dynamics, opportunities, and trouble-spots of supply chains, the pro dealer community, and materials and product distribution channel. Too, he’s all-in to make it so that you get education, training, inspiration, data, and connection to solutions through ProSales channels as you would no where else.
