Three-unit Georgia dealer Griffin Lumber & Hardware has acquired lumber and building materials retailer Blake Builders Supply and roof and floor truss manufacturer Specialty Structural Products.

Blake Builders Supply is the fourth LBM retail location for Griffin Lumber, joining existing locations in Cordele, Ga., Leesburg, Ga., and Tifton, Ga. Specialty Structural Products is the second manufacturing center for Griffin Lumber & Hardware, joining the company’s sawmill in Cordele, Ga.

“Blake Builders Supply and Specialty Structural Products have excellent reputations in the industry,” CEO of Griffin Lumber & Hardware C.J. Griffin said. “The company also has a set of core values that we like, admire, and feel is aligned with Griffin’s. People matter at Blake and Specialty and the companies have high standards.”

Griffin Lumber & Hardware says the addition of roof and floor truss manufacturing to the portfolio complements its offerings, bringing another product line direct from the manufacturer to builders.
