Independently-owned building material supplier Professional Builders Supply expanded into the Greenville-Spartanburg, S.C., market with a greenfield opening.
The expansion represents the fifth market the company serves across the Carolinas in addition to Raleigh-Durham, N.C., Charlotte, N.C., Wilmington, N.C., and Charleston, S.C. The location in the Greenville-Spartanburg, S.C., market is the supplier’s ninth location. Charlie Coggins will serve as the branch’s market president, according to the news release.
“We are extremely excited to be establishing operations in the thriving Upstate market,” Professional Builders Supply CEO Van Isley said in a public statement. “We’ve assembled a team of young, energetic, hard charging individuals who won’t take no for an answer and are going to have fun raising the bar with respect to providing a higher level of customer service.”
Professional Builders Source, ranked 23rd on the 2018 ProSales 100, was founded in Raleigh, N.C., in 2003 and generated $273.4 million in sales in 2017.
