Epicor Software acquired LBM warehouse management solutions provider Majure Data, according to a news release. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Milton, Ga.-based Majure Data is a provider of warehouse management solutions to the building products industry and serves customers in the U.S. and Canada. The company has developed its solutions with a focus on the LBM industry for more than 18 years, according to the news release.
“Both companies offer deep industry expertise and are committed to building long-term relationships with customers, providing increased efficiency, accuracy, and operational improvements in warehouse operations,” Bill Wilson, Epicor’s senior vice president of retail and building materials industry solutions, said in a public statement. “Majure Data offers full integration tools for leading industry ERP platforms, allowing a broad range of LBM dealers and distributors to transform their warehouse operations.”
Wilson said the acquisition strengthens Epicor’s ability to deliver innovative technology that accelerates sales growth, improves productivity, and enhances customer loyalty. Prior to the acquisition, Epicor acted as a reseller for the Majure Data products RF Navigator and RF Navigator Foundations. Epicor said the acquisition signals a continued commitment, focus, and investment in the LBM industry. The deal allows Epicor to offer solutions for LBM customers looking to improve their “on time In full” performance by increasing inventory accuracy and productivity, reducing shipping errors, and providing direct insight into the daily operations of the warehouse.
