OrePac Building Products entered a distribution partnership with composite wood-alternative decking, railing, and cladding manufacturer Fiberon, according to a news release. The partnership supports the growth of OrePac into the outdoor living space while expanding Fiberon’s distribution through OrePac customers in the western region of the U.S.

OrePac has been engaged in a partnership with Therma-Tru Doors, a fiberglass entry door brand part of the Fortune Brands Home & Security family of businesses, since 2012. Fiberon is also a member of the Fortune Brands family. The new agreement with Fiberon leverage’s OrePac’s existing partnership with Therma-Tru and allows Fiberon to optimize its west coast operations.

“This exciting new partnership is a logical next step in our growth with Fortune Brands,” said Brad Hart, president and CEO, OrePac. “We look forward to continuing to build upon our strong partnership while we introduce customers to Fiberon’s expanded line of stylish and high-performance composite products.”

Fiberon’s decking, railing, and cladding products contain up to 94% recycled materials and include rich, nature-inspired embossing for “superior wood emulation” in a wide range of colors, according to the manufacturer. Fiberon products will be available through OrePac after the distributor’s agreement with its current supplier expires.

Wilsonville, Ore-based OrePac Building Products is a family-owned distributor of specialty interior and exterior building products and has 12 locations across Idaho, Montana, Colorado, California, Utah, Arizona, Washington, and Oregon.
