McCoy’s Building Supply named store managers at two of its Texas locations. Holton Walker will serve as store manager for the dealer’s Beeville, Texas, location and Will Fritzlan will manage the Alvin, Texas, branch.
Walker joined McCoy’s in 2017 after serving in the military and completed the dealer’s management development program. Walker most recently served as the assistant manager in Bryan, Texas, and Tyler, Texas, prior to his promotion to store manager. Walker pledged to foster a welcoming environment for customers and an “excellent customer service” experience at the Beeville McCoy’s location. The Beeville branch was remodeled earlier in 2019 and recently celebrated its grand re-opening.
Fritzlan has been with McCoy’s for nearly three years, according to the company. He started out unloading freight trucks at McCoy’s Bryan, Texas, location before becoming the yard foreman at its Montgomery, Texas, branch. Fritzlan enrolled in the dealer’s management development program and served as the assistant manager at several locations across Texas. He most recently served as the store manager for McCoy’s Pasadena, Texas, location. The Alvin, Texas, McCoy’s location opened in December 2017 as a relocation of the dealer’s Pearland, Texas, facility.
San Marcos, Texas-based McCoy’s Building supply operates over 90 locations with full-service lumberyards in Arkansas, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. The dealer was ranked 12th on the 2019 ProSales 100, with $884.4 million in sales in 2018.
