U.S. Fence Solutions, a fencing niche holding company, acquired the assets of Western Access Controls, according to a news release. Western Access Controls is a designer and installer of automated gate and access control systems based in Colorado serving residential and commercial customers throughout the Rocky Mountain region. The company also partners with fence installation businesses to provide a comprehensive suite of automated fence, gate, and security solutions.

“We felt that we needed a partner to help us expand our business and serve our growing customer requests. U.S. Fence Solutions brings resources to Western Access Controls, which will help us staff for additional installation capacity and material sourcing support to meet our customer requirements,” said Western Access Controls co-owner Alain Brule.

Western Access Controls will continue to operate under the leadership of Brule and co-owner Jill Parsons, according to the news release. The company will also continue to work closely with its partner installers.

Western Access Controls joins the U.S. Fence family of businesses as the fifth investment and expands U.S. Fence’s product and service offerings in the greater Denver market. U.S. Fence also owns fencing supply and installation business Split Rail Fence, highway and bridge guardrail fabricator and installer Ideal Fencing, and independent fencing distributor Binford Supply.

U.S Fence was formed by Building Industry Partners (BIP), the same firm that helped launched ProSales 100 members US LBM, Kodiak Building Partners, and Homewood Holdings, in 2016. Colorado-based U.S. Fence now includes four operating companies across 14 locations throughout Colorado, Texas, and Oklahoma. The company ranked 53rd on the 2019 ProSales 100, generating $127.0 million in sales in 2018, 89% of it to pros.
