CPS Distributors, a part of the Heritage Landscape Supply Group family of businesses, opened a location in Colorado Springs, Co. The location will carry a full line of irrigation and landscape suppliers, agronomics, tools and accessories, and complementary products with a focus on service irrigation and landscaping contractors and other industry professionals.

Erin Stemas will manage the Colorado Springs location. Stemas has been a part of the CPS Distributors team for four years and has held a variety of roles, including counter sales and assistant branch manager. The Colorado Springs location is CPS Distributors’ 15th location across Colorado and Wyoming.

“We continue to invest in the expansion of our branch network and are excited to extend our CPS Distributors footprint once again,” Matt McDermott, president of Heritage Landscape Supply Group, said in a public statement. “A 2nd location in Colorado Springs allows us to add capacity in the region and improve our proximity to our valued customers. Our entire team is extremely focused on the execution of our greenfield growth strategy to complement our M&A platform and strengthen the company’s presence in both new and existing markets.”

Heritage Landscape Supply Group is a wholly-owned subsidiary of roofing and building products distributor SRS Distribution. McKinney, Texas-based SRS formed the portfolio group in February and it immediately acquired CPS Distributors and Automatic Supply. Heritage then acquired Normac, in July. At the time of Heritage’s inception, SRS said it planned to grow the portfolio group by creating a national network of independent distributors, maintaining the local brand identity and management of the locations it acquires.
