Sunroc Building Materials, a building materials supplier serving the Utah and Idaho markets, changed its name to Sunpro. According to the company, the name change more accurately reflects the company’s identity as a supplier that serves the pro contractor and builder market segment and to differentiate from its sister company, Sunroc Corp.

“This new name is more representative of the lumber and building materials industry and honors the history and trust that we have built with you, our customer, under the Sunroc name,” Greg Templeman, president of Sunpro, said in a public statement.

With the new name, Sunpro has also unveiled a new logo, a new website, a new rewards site, and a newly developed millwork selection tool. The new website is updated and redesigned to showcase Sunpro’s products and services, including a millwork selection tool that enables customers to browse Sunpro’s millwork and door offerings, easily organize their selections, and request quotes directly from the tool.

Orem, Utah-based Sunpro, a subsidiary of Clyde Companies, was the 30th largest company on the 2019 ProSales 100, generating sales of $218.3 million in 2018. The manufacturer operates 12 locations across Utah and eastern Idaho.
