Cassity Jones Lumber and Building Materials promoted Cason Shrode to president and COO of the company, effective August 1, 2019.
The promotion is part of a planned progression of responsibility for Shrode as he “prepares for future executive roles,” according to CEO John Jones. Shrode joined Cassity Jones Lumber in 2017 and previously served as a division manager for API Group.
Longview, Texas-based Cassity Jones Lumber and Building Materials is a 65-year old family-owned supplied focused on helping professional builders. Cassity Jones operates six lumber and building material operations and a custom door fabrication plant. The company recently opened a facility in Bossier City, La., in June, the supplier’s first location outside the state of Texas.
