ABC Supply opened a new branch location in Sharonville, Ohio, according to a news release from the company. The branch is the exterior products wholesale distributor’s 20th location in Ohio.
Don Smith will manage the branch for Beloit, Wis.-based ABC Supply. Smith has over 27 years of experience in the building materials industry and most recently has held positions in sales and management. Smith joined ABC Supply in 2018 as an outside sales rep at the distributor’s Cincinnati, Ohio, location and enrolled in the company’s branch management training program.
“Don has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to steep- and low-slope roofing, siding and windows. He knows this industry and knows what contractors need from ABC Supply to run successful businesses,” Tom Kuchan, vice president of ABC Supply’s northeast region, said in a public statement. “Under Don’s leadership, our team in Sharonville is ready to build long-lasting relationships with area contractors and the community.”
The Sharonville branch is ABC Supply’s second Ohio greenfield opening in the calendar year. The company opened a branch in Twinsburg in June. The distributor has opened an additional 11 facilities, including two in California and one each in Idaho, Michigan, New Jersey, Florida, Virginia, Kansas, Massachusetts, Texas, and Arizona. ABC Supply was the largest company on the 2019 ProSales 100, generating $10.5 billion in sales during 2018. The distributor currently operates more than 760 locations across the U.S.
