Gloucester, Mass.-based Timberline Enterprises purchased the assets of single-location dealer Braintree Lumber Company. The acquisition is a reinforcement of Timberline’s commitment to growth and service, according to president and CEO Christopher Costello.
“We are very excited to welcome Braintree Lumber to the Timberline family of companies and we believe that the synergies between the two organizations are going to help us to continue to create the superb customer-centric, service-oriented model our clients have come to expect and appreciate,” Costello said.
Braintree Lumber’s Braintree, Mass. location represents the fifth location in the state for Timberline. The new Timberline location is expected to open in October. Founded in 1979, locally-owned Timberline Enterprises sells lumber and building material products to commercial and residential builders in Massachusetts.
