McCoy’s Building Supply named new store managers at two of its Texas locations. Brian Oney will serve as the store manager for the dealer’s Orange, Texas, branch and Chris Rodriguez will manage McCoy’s Midland, Texas, location.
Oney has worked for McCoy’s for 16 years, beginning at the dealer’s Carlsbad, N.M., branch. He held a variety of positions on the sales floor and in the lumberyard before serving as the location’s store manager. Most recently, Oney served as the store manager at McCoy’s Midland, Texas, branch.
“Our entire team is focused on serving our customers in the best way possible, whether that means working to have specific items in stock or making sure we provide timely deliveries,” Oney said in a news release. “We pride ourselves on excellent service and want everyone to feel at home in our store.”
Rodriguez, who will succeed Oney as the Midland, Texas, store manager, joined McCoy’s five years ago, holding positions in the lumberyard and on the sales floor at the dealer’s San Antonio, Texas, branch. Rodriguez enrolled in the company’s management development program and served as an assistant manager in Carlsbad, N.M., before being promoted to store manager in 2016.
“I’m really excited to return to Texas and become involved in the Midland community,” Rodriguez said in a prepared statement. “We have a hardworking and knowledgeable team dedicated to providing excellent service to our customers, no matter the size or scope of their project.”
