Crescent has added a new line of measuring and marking squares to its product lineup, with the Crescent Ex6 Layout Square as the new series’ flagship product.

Using a patent-pending foldout extension arm, the Crescent Ex6 can function as either a 7-inch square or fold out into a 12-inch square. The extension is secured with an easy-to-access thumb lock. The square itself is made from solid, lightweight aluminum, and features laser-etched markings and a corrosion-resistant finish.

The new measuring and marking square product line also includes 6- and 12-inch combination squares, 8-by-12-inch and 16-by-24-inch carpenter squares, a 16-by-24 inch framing square and a 48-inch drywall T-square. crescenttool.com
