McCoy’s Building Supply Expands Operations in New Braunfels, Texas

The dealer will retrofit an existing facility and plans to hire up to 38 employees.

McCoy Corporation, the parent company of McCoy’s Building Supply, will expand door and millwork operations, retrofit an existing 102,940-square-foot facility, and hire up to 38 more employees.

The existing facility in New Braunfels, Texas, supplies interior and exterior pre-hung door units to over 70 McCoy’s Building Supply retail locations with stock doors and millwork and provides products to contractor customers in over 50 markets in Texas, according to a news release. The expansion will increase warehouse space, production capacity, and allow the company to more fully utilize manufacturing equipment.

For the expansion of the New Braunfels facility, the New Braunfels Economic Development Corporation will grant a job-creation, performance-based incentive of $250,000 to hire 38 additional employees by the fifth year. McCoy’s will invest $5.75 million into the retrofitted building.

McCoy’s Door and Millwork in New Braunfels, Texas, is a division of McCoy’s Building Supply. San Marcos, Texas-based McCoy’s operates 88 stores across five states, two door and millwork facilities, and three distribution centers. The dealer ranked 12th on the 2019 ProSales 100, generating $884.4 million in sales during 2018.
