Installed Building Products, an installation contractor of insulation and complementary building products, acquired Premier Building Supply. Provo, Utah-based Premier Building Supply has two additional locations in Lindon, Utah, and Salt Lake City, and provides insulation and garage door installation services for residential customers.

“With three locations and approximately $23 million of annual revenue, Premier significantly expands our presence in Utah,” Jeff Edwards, chairman and CEO of Installed Building Products said in a prepared statement. “Utah is an attractive housing market and I am excited to grow IBP’s presence within the state.”

With the acquisition of Premier Building Supply, Installed Building Products has acquired more than $59 million of annual revenues to date, according to Edwards. The company’s acquisitions primarily have consisted of insulation installers. Edwards said acquisitions remain a “key component” of Installed Building Products’ growth plan.

Columbus, Ohio-based Installed Building Products has a network of more than 175 branch locations across the United States. The company manages all aspects of the installation process for both residential and commercial customers.
