ABC Supply, a wholesale distributor of roofing, siding, and other exterior building products, received the Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award as a “Best Place to Work” in 2020. The distributor received the same honor in 2019.
Glassdoor, one of the world’s largest job and recruiting websites, uses company reviews shared by current and former employees to determine which companies are included on its list of Best Places to Work in 2020. Employees are asked to rate their overall satisfaction with the company and key factors such as career opportunities, compensation and benefits, culture and values, and work-life balance. Employees are also asked to share what works well at their company and areas for improvement.
Based on its reviews on Glassdoor, ABC Supply ranked 44th on the 2020 list, with a 4.4 cumulative rating on the website. The placement is an improvement from 2019, when ABC Supply placed 54th on the Best Places to Work list. In May, the company received the Gallup Great Workplace Award for the 13th year in a row.

We want our associates to feel valued and empowered,” COO Mike Jost said in a public statement. “It’s an honor to receive this recognition, but it’s even more rewarding to have so many positive, dedicated people on our team.”
Beloit, Wis.-based ABC Supply is the largest company on the 2019 ProSales 100, generating $10.5 billion in sales in 2018. The company has more than 790 locations across the country and has opened 15 greenfield locations in 2019.
