Estimated construction unemployment rates fell in 38 states on a year-over-year (YOY) basis in November, according to data analyzed by Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC). The industry employed 145,000 more workers than 12 months ago, but the industry unemployment rate still climbed 0.5 percentage points to 4.4%. According to the ABC, November’s rise in YOY employment is the smallest industry increase since January 2013.
