ABC Supply, a wholesale distributor of building roofing, siding, and other exterior building products, acquired the assets of Midwest Wholesale Materials. The single unit, Madison, Wis.-based company distributes siding, windows, doors, and steep-slope roofing.
Midwest Wholesale Materials was founded in 1960 and represents the fourth ABC Supply location in the Madison, Wis., market and the 18th overall ABC Supply location in Wisconsin. The acquisition will allow ABC Supply to enhance its services to the market and surrounding communities while building deeper relationships with contractors and builders in the metro area, according to ABC Supply. Midwest Wholesale Materials associates will continue to work at the location in Madison to allow a seamless customer transition.
“We are happy to welcome the Midwest Wholesale Materials team to our ABC Supply family,” Mike Jost, COO of ABC Supply, said in a news release. “The new location solidifies our position as the premier distributor of exterior building products in the Madison market and strengthens our partnerships with area contractors.”
Beloit, Wis.-based ABC Supply was the largest company on the 2019 ProSales 100, generating $10.5 billion in annual revenue in 2018. The distributor operates more than 790 locations across the United States. The Midwest Wholesale acquisition is the company’s second completed deal of 2020. Earlier in January, the distributor acquired the assets of Milwaukee, Wis.-based Badger Building Supply.
