ABC Supply, a wholesale distributor of roofing, siding, and other exterior building products, promoted Joe Small to midwest region vice president. In the role, Small will be tasked with building on the success of retiring midwest region vice president Jim Welch and his team, according to the company. Small will be responsible for the complete business performance of 116 ABC Supply locations across 11 states.

Small brings over 30 years of industry experience to the role. The newly promoted Small began his career with Bradco Supply, where he held positions in outside sales and branch and regional management. Small joined ABC Supply in 2010 when the distributor acquired Bradco Supply. With ABC Supply, Small has served as the manager of the Pennsylvania/South Jersey district.

“Every branch, region and district led by Joe has experienced great success, and we’re excited for him to continue the great momentum we have in the Midwest Region,” Mike Jost, COO of ABC Supply, said in a news release. “Our associates are in great hands under his leadership.”

Beloit, Wis.-based ABC Supply was the largest company on the 2019 ProSales 100 list. The distributor operates more than 790 locations across the United States. In 2020, the company has been busy with acquisitions and opening greenfield locations. ABC Supply acquired two Wisconsin distributors, Midwest Wholesale Materials and Badger Building Supply, in January and opened a new location in Mesa, Ariz., in February.
