Nation’s Best Acquires Bridgeport Building Centers

The acquisition further expands the combined company's footprint in Oklahoma and Texas.

Nation’s Best completed the acquisition of Bridgeport Building Centers, with five units serving the Dallas-Fort Worth market in Texas and surrounding areas.

Bridgeport Building Centers’ five locations each contain “state-of-the-art” lumberyards and fully stocked hardware stores. The company’s Bridgeport, Texas, and Springtown, Texas, locations also feature design centers. Bridgeport Building Centers services builders, contractors, and DIYers.

After the acquisition, Bridgeport Building Centers will operate under its existing name with its key leadership team intact to help oversee the company alongside Nation’s Best.

“We are pleased to welcome Bridgeport Building Centers to the Nation’s Best family of companies, which increases our presence in the strong and growing Dallas-Fort Worth market,” Chris Miller, president and CEO of Nation’s Best, said in a news release. “Bridgeport Building Centers is a great fit within our portfolio, and we look forward to the company’s continued success in the years to come.”

Ronnie Hess, representing the leadership team at Bridgeport Building Centers, said the opportunity to partner with Nation’s Best provides the company and associates the tools and resources needed to support continued growth.

Nation’s Best, founded in 2019, is a member-owner of Do It Best Corp. The company operates nine locations in Texas and Oklahoma. The company acquired the assets of three-unit Groom & Sons’ and Lambert Lumber in February.
