Avon Plastics Partners With Schumacher Homes

Under the agreement, Avon is the exclusive provider of composite decking to the builder’s customers.

Avon Plastics entered a partnership with Schumacher Homes to become the exclusive provider of composite decking materials to the home builder’s customers. Canton, Ohio-based custom home builder Schumacher Homes operates in 32 markets across 14 states in the country.

The company has built more than 19,000 homes. Each Schumacher Homes location includes a one-stop shopping design studio and model homes displaying the latest architectural trends.

Paynesville, Minn.-based Avon Plastics manufactures Armadillo composite deck lumber, TurboClip Universal Hidden Deck Fasteners, Grid Axcents Plastic Lattice, Master Mark lawn and garden products, and Quix Interlocking Tile. According to the company, its composite decking product, Armadillo, does not warp, crack, or splinter, reducing maintenance for homeowners. Avon Plastics has recently entered distribution partnerships with East Side Lumberyard Supply to expand its presence in the Midwest and High Mountain Building Supply to expand its footprint in the south.
