Building materials distributor and door fabricator Palmer-Donavin is adding Celect Cellular Composite Siding by Royal Building Products as an option in the company’s exterior siding offering. Palmer-Donavin said increased demand for low maintenance exterior products that withstand the elements makes adding Celect Cellular Composite Siding to its inventory “valuable” for dealers in the Midwest.
“As we see the future of siding, there are a lot of growth opportunities when it comes to composite siding,” vice president of marketing at Palmer-Donavin Josh Thompson said in a prepared statement. “Royal has been a strong partner with Exterior Portfolio Vinyl Siding, and we look forward to growing our relationship by adding Celect Siding, which has been a successful product in the market for many years.”
The Celect siding product combines wood aesthetics with near-zero maintenance, according to Steve Booz, vice president of marketing at Royal Building Products. The product has patented interlocking joints designed to keep out moisture and ensure the boards stay straight. The product insulates 70% better than typical wood products, according to the manufacturer. Palmer-Donavin’s stock includes Celect Clapboard 7”, Celect Shake 7”, Celect Board & Batten and accessories in numerous colors offered by Royal Building Products.
“We’re pleased to have the partnership with Palmer-Donavin’s team,” vice president of Royal Building Products Scott Szwejbka said. “It is important to have a reliable distributor, like Palmer-Donavin, who delivers more than just our product. We value the training and relationships that Palmer-Donavin offers to the dealer network.”
