Building material distributor and door fabricator Palmer-Donavin is adding AZEK Shingle Siding with PaintPro Technology to its line of product offerings. Palmer-Donavin said demand in low-maintenance siding products from homeowners and builders makes carrying the AZEK product valuable for its customers in the Midwest.

The AZEK shingle comes in two styles, straight and staggered. The product is designed with cut keyways of varying widths and a vertical woodgrain pattern to provide a natural wood shingle aesthetic. According to the manufacturer, installers do not need special tools to install the siding product and there is no need to seal cut edges and scrapes for water protection.

“AZEK Shingle Siding features the texture of cedar shingles and has performance benefits of rot-proof PVC building materials,” Joe Ochoa, president of AZEK Building Products, said in a news release. “Leveraging our innovative new PaintPro Technology, AZEK Shingle Siding offers a rapid dry time, superior paint adhesion, and a painted finish that lasts without needing touch-ups or frequent maintenance.”

Chicago-based AZEK Building Products is a division of the AZEK Company and manufactures home building materials in its TimberTech and AZEK Exteriors divisions.
