Higginbotham Brothers & Company (HBC) is opening a new branch in Liberty Hill, Texas, the company’s 40th location. The Liberty Hill location, slated to open in the fall, will operate as a full-service lumber yard and hardware store, according to the company.
“What was once a ranching community is now expanding and developing upscale neighborhoods, many new business openings, and has become known for an excellent school district,” the company said in a prepared written statement. “HBC is excited to be a part of this growing area.”
Comanche, Texas-based Higginbotham Brothers & Company owns and operates around 40 lumberyards and hardware stores throughout Texas and Oklahoma. The company completed two acquisitions in 2019 and relocated and reopened its Glen Rose, Texas, store in March 2020.
