L&W Supply, a unit of ABC Supply, promoted Mike Borgelt to the position of branch manager in Olathe, Kansas. Borgelt is replacing the retiring John Twarek.
“Mike is among our most talented associates and one of our hardest-working branch managers,” Charles Collins, regional vice president of L&W Supply’s central region, said in a news release. “Although we’re going to miss working with John, we’re glad to have Mike back in Kansas City.”
Borgelt has worked for the specialty distributor for almost 20 years. The new Olathe branch manager joined L&W Supply as a delivery driver in 2002 before being promoted to branch supervisor in 2003. Borgelt held the branch supervisor position for 15 years until accepting the role of branch manager in Columbus, Ohio, in January 2019.
As branch manager, Borgelt will be responsible for overseeing all activities at the Olathe branch, including coordinating deliveries with sales teams and customers to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, according to L&W Supply.
Chicago-based L&W Supply is a specialty distributor of wallboard, steel studs, ceiling systems, and other interior products. The distributor operates 174 branch locations in 35 states across the United States.
