Sto Corp. announced the complete restructuring of its sales organization, in a move to “better address changing market realities.” By overhauling its sales structure, Sto is hoping to complement its product lineup with an equivalent level of service, through “enhancement and specification in the resources and knowledge provided to customers throughout all stages of a project,” according to the company.

“As a company, we must adapt and reshape to meet evolving market needs,” Jose Berlingeri, president and CEO of Sto Americas, said in a news release. “This restructuring positions Sto to provide the support required in the field within a structure that allows us to grow strategically, while remaining nimble enough to act quickly to respond to new challenges and opportunities.”

Sto’s new sales structure is designed around a team approach, which the company hopes better utilizes existing resources. The teams include sales managers, construction design managers, field service managers, and lead generation specialists supporting primary project stakeholders. To develop the new structure, Sto is reassigning roles and responsibilities and adding positions as needed.

Sto said the revised sales structure will allow the company to be more directly and highly engaged with all of the stakeholders on a project, providing them with access to specialized Sto representatives who can provide solutions and expertise tailored to their specific needs throughout a project’s cycle.

“The roles of our sales personnel will shift from generalists to specialists,” Paul Bieber, vice president of sales at Sto Corp., said in a prepared statement. “They’ll be able to provide a higher degree of individualized service.”

Atlanta-based Sto products a range of advanced cladding, air moisture barrier, and coating systems.
