BlueLinx Holdings appointed Scott Walker as the general manager at the building products distributor’s Nashville, Tenn., location. Walker most recently served as the general manager for Huttig Building Products in California. The newly appointed general manager has 24 years of industry experience, including 11 years with J&W Lumber.
“The Nashville market presents great opportunities for BlueLinx and I am confident Scott will provide the leadership for the team to be very successful,” Paul Wetmore, regional vice president of BlueLinx’s central region, said in a news release.
Marietta, Ga.-based BlueLinx has a distribution footprint covering 40 states and the company distributes its range of structural and specialty products to approximately 15,000 customers across the United States.
