Installation and building products provider Installed Building Products acquired Charlottesville, Va.-based WeatherSeal Insulation. Founded in 1989, WeatherSeal primarily provides fiberglass and spray foam insulation services to residential customers.
“With approximately $6.4 million of annual revenue, WeatherSeal expands our presence in Virginia,” Jeff Edwards, chairman and CEO of Installed Building Products Jeff Edwards said in a news release.
Edwards said the company has acquired over $100 million of annual revenues through deals made in 2020. The company recently acquired Cherry Hill, N.J.-based Storm Master and Kent, Wash.-based Insulation Contractors/Magellan Insulation. The chief executive also said acquisitions remain a key component of Installed Building Products’ growth strategy.
Columbus, Ohio-based Installed Building Products operates 180 branch locations and provides insulation installation for residential and commercial builders. The company also offers waterproofing, fire-stopping, fireproofing, garage doors, rain gutters, window blinds, shower doors, closet shelving, and mirror installation services for builders.
