L&W Supply, a unit of ABC Supply, acquired the business of building materials distributor Merrimack Building Supply. L&W Supply will service customers from the three former Merrimack Building Supply locations in Merrimack, N.H., Medway, Mass., and Stratford, Conn.
L&W said the acquisition increases the distributor’s team of experience associates and strengthens its presence in the New England market.
“We are excited to welcome the Merrimack Building Supply Associates to the L&W Supply family,” John McLaughlin, vice president of L&W Supply’s northeast region, said in a news release. “Over the past 35 years ,the Merrimack team has built strong relationships with contractors in the greater New England region. We look forward to continuing to support their contractor customers. These locations improve our local footprint and will allow us to strengthen our relationships with area contractors.”
Chicago-based L&W Supply, a specialty distributor of gypsum wallboards, suspended ceiling tiles, and other building materials, operates 183 branch locations in 38 states.
