Dealer, Distributor, and Manufacturer News

  • Delaney Hardware enhanced its digital experience, which offers building product professionals the ability to work with consumers to design their own signature hardware styles.
  • Envision Building Products entered a distribution agreement with Hawkeye Distribution. Hawkeye will distribute Envision composite decking to dealers throughout Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Minnesota.
  • Wholesale lumber distributor Sprenger Midwest added LP ArchForm to the existing LP stocked product line.
  • Door manufacturer and designer Masonite announced patent-pending technology that integrates power and internet connectivity into residential doors. Masonite plans to leverage this technology through relationships with digital doorbell maker Ring along with locks and hardware manufacturer Yale Home.
  • The Home Depot Rental opened Rental Operations Facilities in the Houston and Nashville markets.
  • Installed Building Products (IBP), the installer of insulation and building products, donated $1.9 million in grants and assistance to nonprofits and individuals through the Installed Building Products Foundation.
  • 84 Lumber donated $25,000 on The Kelly Clarkson Show to help the Salgado family in Avondale, Ariz., rebuild their home after it caught fire on New Year’s Day.
  • Beacon announced its five waterproofing brands across the western United States, including Hawaii, will now be named Beacon Waterproofing Products.
  • Deckorators’ mineral-based composite decking is now approved for use as cladding.
  • Orgill revised its event schedule to include hybrid online and in-person events. Under the new schedule, the upcoming Aug. 26-28 event switches from in-person to an Aug. 16-27 Online Buying Event. The distributor also announced a Winter 2021 Online Buying Event in late October, a Spring 2022 Online Buying Event that will coincide with the in-person Spring Dealer Market in Orlando in February 2022, and a Summer 2022 Online Buying Event in April 2022.
  • ABC Supply earned its 15th consecutive Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award.

  • DURATION Moulding and Millwork hired Robert Torino as the company’s national sales director.
  • Teague Lumber Company has changed ownership, but remains within the Teague family. Third-generation family member and company president Paul Teague and fourth-generation Brandon Teague are now owners of the family business.
  • National Lumber hired Kimberly Salvo-Conlon as the company’s director of commercial millwork, doors, and hardware.
  • LMC appointed Paul Ryan as its new president and CEO. Ryan succeeds John Somerville, who announced his retirement in June.
  • Riviera Bronze appointed Sharoon Kanhaiya as the company’s CFO.
  • International Wood Products promoted Edy Schaller to the position of vice president of marketing.

  • Infinity Drain is now offering the FCS Series Fixed Flange liner drain with Schluter-KERDI fabric factory applied.
  • Navien launched the NPE-2 series of condensing tankless water heaters. The NPE-2 is offered in four standard (NPE-S2) models up to 199,900 BTU/H and three advanced (NPE-A2) models up to 199,900 BTU/H.
  • QuickDrain USA introduced the SquareDrain point drain, an extension of the QuickDrain total shower solution.
  • BLANCO introduced the VINTERA farmhouse sink collection.
  • Gessi introduced a new line of touchless Sensor Taps.
  • ToughBuilt introduced the Hawkbill Folding Knife.
  • Masonite International Corporation launched DuraStyle exterior wood doors with AquaSeal technology.
  • THOR Kitchen launched a new series of Professional Range Hoods, available in 30-inch, 36-inch, and 48-inch sizes and heights of either 16 or 11.5 inches.
  • Huntsman Building Solutions announced its HEATLOK HFO Pro Closed Cell Spray Polyurethane Foam insulation has completed NFPA 285 fire testing for metal and aluminum wall assemblies.
  • ICP Building Solutions Group announced a reformulation of its flagship in mold resistant and fungicidal coatings line, Fiberlock IAQ 6000 Mold Resistant Coating.
