SRS Distribution opened nine greenfield locations across the country, eight within the company’s building products division and one within its landscape supply division. The new building products branches include stores in Athens, Ga., Pensacola, Fla., Portsmouth, N.H., Kalamazoo, Mich., Tifton, Ga., Gulfport, Miss., Lakeville, Minn., and Lancaster, Pa. Each building products location will carry a full line of residential and commercial roofing products, according to SRS.
The Heritage Landscape Supply Group, a division of SRS Distribution, opened a new location in The Villages, Fla., carrying a full line of landscape products.
“We are pleased to announce the opening of nine new greenfields across the midwest, southeast, and east coast,” SRS president and CEO Dan Tinker said in a news release. “Thanks to the diligent effort of our branch expansion and operations teams our capabilities to expand in strategic markets has never been greater. With the addition of these new locations, SRS will continue to provide unparalleled service to our loyal customer base and enjoy even greater geographic reach in these regions.”
SRS said the opening of the nine branches in eight different states reflects the company’s continued focus on expanding the company’s footprint across the country. The latest group of greenfields for SRS include a mix of “in-fill” market and new MSA locations. The distributor said greenfields will continue to play a role in SRS’ path to building “the strongest national network of independent distributor brands in the industry.”

SRS operates a family of distinct family of local brands encompassing more than 440 locations across 45 states. SRS formed Heritage Landscape Supply Group in February 2019 and the portfolio group has rapidly expanded over the past two years, acquiring 14 businesses and opening numerous greenfield locations. Heritage Landscape Supply Group operates more than 120 locations in 24 states across 18 distinct local brands.
