Door manufacturer Masonite named Richard Leland as the company’s vice president of finance and treasurer. Leland joins Masonite from Office Depot, where he led global treasury, investor relations, corporate development, and risk management activities as vice president of finance and corporate treasurer.
In the VP role at Masonite, Leland will be responsible for all treasury and investor relations activities, as well as corporate business planning and analysis functions, according to the manufacturer.
“We are very pleased to have Rich join the Masonite team, Russ Tiejema, Masonite executive vice president and CFO, said in a news release. “We believe his breadth and experience in leadinging finance teams, combined with his knowledge and experience in treasury and investor relations, will help us to further engage investors and deliver our financial goals.”
Leland also previously served as CFO for Office Depot Asia, based in Hong Kong, Prior to joining Office Depot, the newly appointed Masonite VP held a number of finance leadership positions at Burger King Corporation, the Kellogg Company, U.S. Robotics, and Morton International.
Masonite is a designer, manufacturer, marketer, and distributor of interior and exterior doors for the new construction and repair, renovation, and remodeling sectors of the residential and nonresidential building construction markets.
