Installation and building products provider Installed Building Products (IBP) acquired General Ceiling & Partitions (GCP). Colorado Springs, Co.-based GCP installs drywall, framing, ceiling tiles, and firestopping/insulation for commercial customers.
GCP generated approximately $11.5 million in annual revenue and helps IBP expand its commercial installation services to the “compelling” Colorado Springs market, according to IBP chairman and CEO Jeff Edwards.
In addition to the acquisition of GCP, IBP also announced the acquisition of Louisiana-based Reliable Glass & Mirror, a provider of glass and mirror installation services for the residential and commercial markets.
“To date in 2021, we have acquired approximately $79 million of annual revenues,” Edwards said in a prepared statement. “Acquisitions remain a key component of our growth strategy and we continue to have a robust pipeline of acquisition opportunities across multiple geographies, products, and end markets.”
Columbus, Ohio-based Installed Building Products operates 190 branch locations and provides insulation installation for residential and commercial builders. The company also offers waterproofing, fire-stopping, fireproofing, garage doors, rain gutters, window blinds, shower doors, closet shelving, and mirror installation services for builders.
